As a Woman, Your Purpose Matters!

Your purpose is the reason you exist!

Divine Pearls of Purpose is inspired by my passion to motivate and encourage women to operate at their highest spiritual potential in life!

In January of 2007, I started a women’s group entitled Divine Diva’s “We Keep It Moving”. This group was based off of biblical principles to inspire women to discover their gifts and function at their highest level of spirituality either as a woman that is single, engaged, married with or without children, divorced, or even widowed.

I had a book club, lunch and learns, spoke at conferences, held a women’s retreat and even held monthly meetings with designated topics to discuss. The topics involved:

• Who are you?
• What is your role as a woman?
• What is your role as a wife?
• What are spiritual gifts?
• Who is your boss?
• How do you be whole, etc…

These are just a few of the topics discussed. Within this time frame I also held an all male panel discussion for women to ask Godly men any questions they had that they wanted answers to. This was a very successful meeting; which continued to encourage relationship discussions on various topics to enable relationships to heal and grow.

As the years went on I realized that this was one of my major purposes in life to encourage women of all ages. After getting married and having children of my own I had to let the women’s group go to focus on raising my children and creating a solid foundation with my husband. My interaction with the women in the group remained constant for years to come. We would go out to eat on occasion or even take a girls day out trip together to regroup and encourage each other.

It was in my years of working that I realize that I was to seek assignments that created opportunities for me to encourage the women I worked with. The last assignment I had was hosting a bible study at work once a month and it was a huge success. My passion lived on.

Now that I have moved to another state, that same passion and fire still burns on the inside of me. With that being said, I was inspired to start a blog to reach many women across the world and encourage you through life experiences, biblical principles I have learned along the way and revelation with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Divine Pearls of Purpose was befitting for the title of this blog because I believe we as women are divine beings with the characteristics of pearls living with purpose to fulfill. There will be further insight in future blogs that truly define my inspiration for this title.

I hope this blog will encourage you to know that you are special and you do have a purpose to fulfill while you are on this earth!
