Vision Planning for 2020!

2020 Write The Vision

Habakkuk 2:2
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

As 2020 unfolds, it is very important that you create a vision for you and your family and write it down and read it daily; individually if you are single and together if you are married. Having an idea in your head is great but if it is not written; it remains an idea. While writing the vision, ensure that you provide declarations for the vision; or the steps to reach that vision. Making it plain creates a process that is simple to follow. When there is a process that seems to be unreachable; there is a tendency to give up. Not only do you want to write it down; you should post it. Posting it creates a vision board for it to enter your eye gates. Though we walk by faith and not by sight; it is important to see it as reinforcement. This vision should be posted in a place where you visit on a daily basis twice a day. Once the vision is posted; you must read it. Read it in the morning and read it at night and when you are home, read it throughout the day. Reading it out loud builds faith in what you envisioned, what you wrote, and now what you hear. Remember faith comes by hearing. Now that you are reading this vision daily; you must create an accountability partner that you trust to touch and agree with you. You have angels assigned to you waiting on a command. Writing the vision and reading the vision and including it in your prayer life creates an assignment for the angels to perform it. Reinforcement with an accountability partner creates the opportunity for manifestation to happen quickly. Let’s not forget to apply faith to the vision in order to please Yahweh (God). Having a vision is amazing but in order for it to be a reality; you must write it, post it, read it and then run with it. Following those previous steps creates a road headed to manifestation! I am excited for everyone that decides to do this for 2020!

Write The Vision

Now let’s create some application: Start with a scripture for the year that applies to your vision for the year. If you are married the scripture should be for the marriage and the family. If you are single this also applies to you. Make the scripture relevant. For example; Joshua 24:15 – As for me and my house we will serve the Lord! Define what this scripture is to you by writing down what this will look like in the flesh.

Once a scripture has been determined; write down some declarations for yourself, your marriage, your kids, your finances, your intimacy, your business, your ministry, etc. Whatever you stand in need of; make a declaration to confess it daily! If you are married with kids, make it a family project. Have the kids write down their desires for 2020 and add it to the vision board. Check it off as it manifest throughout the year! At this point you now have accountability. When there is something to work towards; you now have defined goals and vision… it is the responsibility of the husband to create the mission and the vision for the house so that the family understand who they are and what they stand for. It is the wife that stands alongside her husband and help him with the plans and preparations. Now there is a solid foundation established with direction. Sidebar- in order for a woman to be a helpmate; she must know what she is helping to birth. If you are single; having an established vision creates direction and stability.

Now that you have a vision; create a mission and a vision statement. A mission is defined as an important assignment carried out. Companies have a vision and a mission statement that all coworkers must follow. What is your mission statement? A vision is the ability to think about or plan for the future. Now that you have a vision and a mission; make that vision and mission into a statement. I asked my college students to write a vision and a mission statement that defines who they are and memorize it. This can be individual and unified as a married couple. Write the vision and the mission statement and when you are asked who you are; you know because it is written.

By the time 12/31/20 arrives; you should have some goals met and some things to complete for 2021. Do not get discouraged if all goals are not met. Stay encouraged because you have a plan. Pray over this vision daily and do not allow your hope to be deferred. Let faith carry you. Happy planning for 2020.
