Walking In Dominion

Take a journey with me if you will as I unfold how Yahweh my Elohim allowed me to have one of the many encounters of using my dominion and authority…

I had been watching this truck since the first time they released it and I said to myself, I am going to get me one of them. I didn’t know when and I didn’t know how, I just knew something inside of me was reassuring me that I would. I went to the dealership one day and looked at them and asked several questions learning about the vehicle and seeing it, touching it and sitting in it made it more of a reality! I was instructed to let the salesman know I wasn’t interested in buying; just getting details. Before I left, he looked me in my eyes and said you will get one; I just know it.

Years later with new models released, I was sitting at home and I heard; call the dealership and request the vehicle in a specific color, with leather seats and the special edition. At the time I was not working and I said to myself; Yahweh is that you? I don’t have a job. It became louder and I called the dealership and said exactly what I was instructed to say. The person who answered the phone said we don’t have that specific one in stock here but I can have one shipped here in 2 days. I said ok and hung up the phone. I was sitting there like did this just happen? Are they taking my word only and supplying my request without a credit check?

Two days later I received a call from the dealership and they said your truck is here to pick up. I was nervous and excited and in awe that this was really happening. I get to the dealership and walk in and ask for the salesperson who called me and he said, “give us just a moment to bring it to the front.” I walked outside and it was the exact color I requested. I opened the door and the interior had cloth seats. I heard a still voice say; tell them no thank you. Once I stated no thank you; the salesman proceeded to say do you know the trouble we went through to get this truck for you? I was instructed to say I am so sorry to cause you trouble, but this is NOT what I requested. I thanked him for his time and drove off in my car frustrated and disappointed. I got home and had a talk with Yahweh.

The very next morning the spirit of the Lord woke me up and said get dressed and go to this next state and ask for the same exact truck. Because I know His voice, I did not hesitate. I got dressed; didn’t call anyone and just drove by faith. I arrived to the dealership and a salesman approached me and I said exactly what Yahweh instructed me to ask for and within minutes the truck was pulled to the front waiting on me. I had to take a breath and open the door and it had EVERYTHING Yahweh instructed me to request! I paused and internally said thank you Jesus!

The salesman gets on the driver side and I in the passenger side. He turns the radio on to a gospel station and began to tell me about the features of the vehicle. It had only 33 miles on it and smelt brand new. After a few moments of explaining the vehicle; He stopped mid sentence and said you already know the features and there is no need for me to go any further without me ever opening my mouth about the fact that I had already researched the truck already. Side note: can you say Yahweh ordered my steps? I drove back and everything about it felt good. It was negotiation time and they gave me the first amount for the car payment and I spoke with my eyes only because no words came out of my mouth and he immediately went back to finance to re-negotiate. I was nervous as all get out. He came back like what seemed hours later but within about 20 minutes and gave me a price. My spirit said yes but my mind was saying are you crazy Tikealia… you do not have a job and you have never had a payment this high. Nonetheless I said yes. Traded my car in and drove off with the truck Yahweh promised me. He said you will do many endeavors with this truck. The first person I met in it was my mom.

Needless to say I took my aunt to her first chemo treatment in that truck. I took my girlfriend to her appointment. I drove members apart of the women’s ministry I led to meetings. I drove family members to ministry lunch and learns at my house. I took my first 8 hour trip alone in that truck. My family and I went on many vacations in that truck and made beautiful memories in that truck. We took our honeymoon in that truck. I was the only owner of the vehicle and kept the maintenance up on it. I truly appreciated the truck. First payment was due and I said you know what, I am taking this truck back. Only to hear this still small voice say; you got this.

Along the years, I had to do some major repairs to it through wear and tear and had a few challenges to come up that was testing my faith and yet again a still small voice said I gave you this truck and no one can hinder what I provided. I even had people say why don’t you get a newer vehicle? Needless to say; it was paid for and I know what Yahweh spoke to me.

In 2017, my husband surprised me with an even larger SUV in the same color as my other vehicle and I saw it before it manifested. I said I like these and in the normal routine of Yahweh showing me a glimpse of my future; He said it will be in the same color as this one. The first time I rode in one, was like it but in a different make and model. It was for a business trip and when we returned back to SC, angels were captured in a picture behind it.

In 2022, Yahweh said you are going to have to let the truck go. I cried like a baby because this was my first vehicle Yahweh provided in my singleness the second time around. I remember what He said and I had became attached to it, but I knew what I had to do.

In 2023, Yahweh said; it is time. I had a friend of mine ask me what I was going to do with my first SUV because they knew someone who was looking for a vehicle. I said ok. After speaking with the person; the spirit confirmed they were to be entrusted to be blessed by the vehicle. We took it to them and my youngest daughter gave them the third degree because in her mind this was supposed to be hers when she grew up. After some questions she was ok to let it go. She cried once we drove off because we had many, many, many family vacations in that truck. From time to time Yahweh will let me see it because it is in the same state to reassure me it is still doing what it was promised to do for me but with another family that needed it more than us. My prayer was that it bless them; just as it blessed me.

Moral of the story… trust Yahweh when He lead you to something or someone and it doesn’t make sense. Also trust Him when He say let it go! Don’t become so attached to the promise that you miss the next promise! This is how Yahweh moves you from glory to glory! This is also how you teach your children to trust Yahweh no matter what!
