When I think of family I start with faith and realize there is an awakening of memories made instantly as you are loving Yahweh. Growing up Family was always important to me. We were guaranteed to get together for anything. Cookouts were one of the things we would put together at the last minute and always had enough food to go around. Thanksgiving and Christmas were the events we would all get together and eat dinner and fellowship for hours always enjoying each other. As the younger children got older, we started to get married and have kids and move into different cities. Nonetheless we would strive to make efforts to get together from time to time.
It wasn’t until I started my family that I realized just how important it is to invest in your family. Take a journey with me as I unravel the joy of Faith Awakening Memories Instantly Loving Yahweh.
Faith is very important for a family. Faith is a strong desire to believe in something that has not yet come to pass. Within scripture, Yahweh states that it is impossible to please Him without faith. It is faith that encourages you to do the things you normally wouldn’t do. Faith is what you activate when you desire a change that you know you are unable to accomplish on your own. A family built on faith stands through adversity. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen per scripture. It takes faith to spend the rest of your life with a man that you are getting to know from year to year. It takes faith to have a child for the first time. It takes faith to raise a child. It takes faith to maintain a marriage. In other words it takes faith to do ALL things! A family built on faith moves the hand of Yahweh (God).
Awakening is defined as an act or moment to become suddenly aware of something. After faith has been applied, there is an awakening that happens mentally and then verbally. While pregnant with my first child, I had many questions and uncertainty if I would do things right and then I remembered someone telling me that parenting is innate. It will come to you as you go. It is like something on the inside of you comes alive once your child is born. Things you use to take for granted while single one day becomes relevant once you start your family. There is a defense mechanism that ignites once your child is born. There is a level of security that immediately activates and you protect them at all cost. After faith erupts, there is an awakening that takes place on the inside of you that prepares, teaches and leads you to the knowledge you need to go from one year to the next.
Memories are created on a daily basis. Believe it or not, you are creating forever thoughts in the mind of your kids daily. If you sit and talk to them, they will tell you what they have enjoyed over the years, what they disliked over the years, what they miss, what they would like to do and also what things make them happy doing with the family. Friday is our family night and our kids look forward to it. They come home from school and say Yayyy it’s family night, what are we going to do as a family? These are memories that they look forward to that last a lifetime. We also do family vacations throughout the year. We do over night stays, weekend stays, weekly stays, etc. We have traveled so often our kids plan for our next vacations and even make request where they want to go next. Memories are important for families. What memories are you making?
Instantly Loving goes together. There is an instant love that happens with families. My husband and I fell in love rather quickly. It was beyond our control. Yahweh put us together. It was predestined. Once we conceived our first son, there was a love for him like no other. The day we saw him for the first time I cried and my husband immediately dedicated him back to the Father. Each child we had thereafter bought the same instant love from us and their siblings. It was as if we knew each other for years. This type of love is sacrificial. We protect each other. Families should create an environment that is built on instant love. Because Yahweh is love; we are a family built on love.
Yahweh is our Heavenly Father. He is our creator. He is our provider. He is our shelter and our present help in our time of need. He is the foundation of our family. Jesus is our intercessor, our savior and our redeemer. As for our house; we serve the Lord. Even our children serve the Lord with a cheerful heart. Families that are built on the foundation of Yahweh, build kingdom marriages, have kingdom kids and produce kingdom families. What does your family mean to you?
